That's an interesting idea, but the network would never go for it. A toon hosting Saturday Night Live would be a hoot to see for about 15-30 minutes, but I don't think that the novelty would be able to stay fresh for an hour, let alone an hour and a half. Plus, animation takes longer to produce...
