    This shit makes me sick

you are quite lame! This is an accurate response to the election if you voted the other way. I think YOU are what is wrong with America. By generalizing a mass public with one person's view (and positive at that) on the election.

Nokia 5800 XM NAM(850/1900): Reviews, Issues, Tips, Tricks & Support Thread!!

I was down in LA for a week, and had a chance to use OVI Maps on my 5800. I must say, for a free voice-guided GPS, it's pretty darn good. 9 time out of 10, I was able to get satellite-lock within 10 seconds. The directions and street name pronounciation were as good as my Garmin stand-alone...

Pixon 12 is advertised to have 28mm wide angle lens, but in reality it has 30 mm wide angle lens and this has been verified by gsmarena people only. pixon 12 at 8 mp setting compared to N86 ver 20 firmware would be really interesting.

Animated Christmas Specials 2010 - The Talkback

I'm not sure when Rudolph will re-air on CBS. However, by researching a little, I guess CBS cuts a lot of the original/DVD/video version. The ending they use now, wasn't the original. It turns out, in the original, that UKon (I can't spell his name ) found peppermint. He said it was...

Family Guy - "Long John Peter" - Talkback [5/4]

There's probably no need to be detailed in my review, so it'll be short and to the point. They went out on a limb with that "Peter tries to pick up a toad for about a minute" gag and it paid off. I can't explain why. I sort of wanted to hate it because it seemed like the wrong type of long...

4Kids TV Premiere- Di-Gata Defenders [Month of September] Talkback (Spoilers)

I enjoyed this episode. Great cliffhanger.

    Inspector Gadget - Years later...

If the writers really where trying to do a kid version of Get Smart down to the T, that might have been a long running joke :). Although after just watching the 'race to the finish' episode, why does Dr.Claw have TWO Voices? The replacement and Frank Welker? Was Welker just not available to...

Should TMNT: Fast Forward (The 6 season) have been a seperate show...

Without the Turtles, it wouldn't even necessarily had to have been a superhero show; it could've easily been a "slice of life" comedy set in the future, like a kid-friendly Futurama.

    Historical tie-ins to animation...

I recently read some works by George Orwell, one of which included a biographical account of his younger years when he was a British solider in Africa and had to kill an elephant.Well,in The Lion King,Zazu was a Britsh bird in Africa.Keeping on this same topic, there was that scene also LK where...

Toon Zone Talkback - Best New Animated Series of 2009: "Olivia"

I have watched both shows (sick days aren't what they used to be with absolutely no interesting TV during the day now. Damn lack of game shows on USA) and Olivia just was boring to me. There can be good shows for younger kids (Arthur continually proves this), but Olivia is no Arthur. Maybe...

Laika Mostly Gives CGI the Chopping Block

I personally enjoy claymation and stop-motion animation because of the sheer effort that has to go into each frame, especially if it is animated well. Laika has my respect for trying to succeed with stop-motion. That being said, Dreamworks and Pixar always seem to be needing more CGI...

    Avatar

Well that?s the first negative comment and no offense taken. You can never please everyone, and that?s why they make both chocolate and vanilla. However there have been several requests for copies, so you are outvoted. I think I will continue to use it for the time being. Richard

Does ABC Even Care About Saturday Mornings?

I still think Fox has a small interest in cartoons, and it is possible they might return someday (unlikely, of course) As for your question: except for E/I, no.

New Oscar BP rule advantegeous to animation?

That's what always happens in the Oscars anyway. Nominations / awards don't go to the films that deserve them, they go to the films whose filmmakers got snubbed the worst in LAST year's Oscars. And of course, the whole reason those filmmakers got snubbed so bad was because THOSE awards were...
