I'm assuming you were using Pocket Mirror to sync categories. Unless you're using DateBk5, you wouldn't have been syncing calendar categories. I've been using Pocket Mirror for about four years and never experienced any problems with categories getting "messed up". You do have to set up PM so...

As someone who was around when this show originally aired I can tell you that it was never good to begin with. Kids only watched it to make fun of it. Making Captain Planet jokes has now been a 19 year tradition.
