No. The Simpsons isn't at all "tamer" now than it's been before; the show was never one to revel in sex and gore.

I know that at 7 AM, on this one radio station my school bus driver listens to, they have Lois Griffith say, "It's 7 in the morning." After they do the news, they play a clip of a quote (usually, TV, I think :sweat:) and yesterday, they had Charlire Brown say, "Good Grief."
