I have had the ultra clear on for a couple of months now and no scratches. I do have alot of smudges and fingerprints though (constantly cleaning the screen off with a cloth), but I have come to accept this as the way of life with a touch screen smartphone.

I know it can. But do phone makers care enough to do that? I have yet to try typing on a 5800 hopefully I can do that sometime this week but that is one thing that makes me want the N97 over it. If the software keyboard is junk on it, at least there's a real keyboard to pound on underneath.
