    PS3 GTA freezing, the poll!

May 7, 2008 - If you're like us, trying to play Grand Theft Auto IV online has been harder than whacking a mob boss in Honkers. The game crashes, it won't let you into matches, and sometimes, it won't even let you break into teams. Rockstar's here to fix those problems. Today, the company...

    *OFFICIAL THREAD: Nokia N97

Someone needs to put the idiot Nokia reps in line. Why aren't they being told what the Nokia Flagship stores are being told about the June 2nd release date for the N97? It's retarded to just tell one and not the other.

Should they make a cartoon based on the "Pearls Before Swine" comic?

That's what I'm thinking....If "Pearl" gets an animated series, they could just make fun of/references to other cartoons... Hey,they've already made reference to Spongebob Squarepants in the comic...Pastis was trying to make Pig and Rat more "marketable" by dressing them up as Spongebob (Rat)...

    Turok: Son of Stone

Eh, I don't know; the animation looks fine, but there doesn't seem to be a purpose for this movie aside from "Let's kill lots of dinosaurs in graphic fashion!"

    Clothes in Animation

It depends on the nature of the cartoon. In an action/drama cartoon that tries to tell a more serious story, variety in the clothing can work very well, in the same way aging your characters over time can work very well. But in a comedy type cartoon, changing outfits isn't really necessary at all.

Winnie The Pooh's recent film's incredibly short length

For the record, Cars is two and a half hours long, and every little boy in America between the ages of two and eight seems to love it. I've spoken to parents who tell me their kids watch it two to three times a day. So evidently, length isn't always a factor. Maybe Winnie the Pooh will just feel...

My Outlook does not sync completely

What device are you using? What version of PC OS are you using? What version of Outlook are you using? That said - I've never liked, nor trusted, the Palm conduits. Depending upon you device, I'd recommend you purchase Pocket Mirror Pro from Chapura.com.

    Good show, bad opening song

I thought Duck Dodgers had an absolutely great opening theme. It was in the vein of the same sci-fi era that the original Duck Dodgers parodied. Fit the show perfectly and it just sounded cool...something I'd listen to all by itself. The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles had a very jarring theme...

Sit Down, Shut Up - "Back in Time" - Talkback [5/10]

Wow. Not much talkback going on here, yet. I thought it was a great episode. Once again the writing was pretty sharp. Going into a flashback on the third episode, its a risk that appears to have paid off. It was also interesting that they took the focus away from the school, so the show won't...

    Don Bluth Discussion Thread

I always wondered who was behind those not-Disney animated films from my childhood. It took years for me to figure out who Don Bluth was, but since I was a child I was able to figure out his formula too well. Anthromorphic animals, some cheesy musicals, dark themes, add a dash of nightmare fuel...

When did young shallow teenagers become good protagonist in cartoons?

It depends largely on who you're supposed to laugh at. In some shows, you're supposed to sympathize with/relate to the protagonists and laugh at the antagonists. In other shows, you're supposed to laugh at the main cast; Stoked seems to be one of the latter.
