It's probably related to the screen or the cable connecting the screen to the phone. Something similar happened to my mom's 5800 in cold weather but it didn't stay for a long time. Sounds like you should open up your phone/send it in for warranty.

Except with a much smaller memory footprint. I'm a lot happier with it myself. It certainly seems to load everything lightning fast as well, but I haven't attempted to quantify that or find anyone who has, nor am I aware of how they attempted to address that.

Well the camera is obviously the single biggest draw of the N8. I don't believe there is an Android phone with a truly stellar camera so having something like the N8 on Android would be great.

The N810 pouch looks very similar and is quite handy.
