Because of a third channel that was recently deployed as stated in the articles and a bug in the firmware that causes them to reboot, which is why sales of the 6650 were halted. Apparently this bug affects unbranded e71-2 and the e71x. Phones don't need to reboot to re-establish a connection...

One thing I might like to add is that the 5mp camera for the Motorola Atrix might be better than the 8mp for the HTC Inspire (Desire HD), looking at the reviews. The 5mp on the Atrix appears to be among the best 5mp cameras so far.

Be careful with EmeraldSounds. It seems the developer has added non-OS 5 MIDI sounds to this package and it has caused problems with some OS 5 machines.
