I found that if you subscribe to the containing RSS feeds in the web browser, you can simply tap on the media link within each episode, and the podcast will start playing right away (while streaming to your phone). Sort of like "Just In Time" podcasts if you will.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. We're all hoping it will get it. But how many times has nokia purposely NOT given us something like this in an update when they could easily do it. In fact they've never done it once, so this would be the first time in their entire history. Something to think...

But even with firmware updates for Nokia's, our shortcomings are never fixed. Well, maybe 1 out of the hundreds of shortcomings that we endure.

Actually, no. If you click on the link now the pre-order banner is gone and in the lower left hand corner it has the n97 with a buy now button. Check again. Still no n97 in the support menu though.
