to turn off A-GPS, you need to go to Settings> General> Positioning> Positioning Methods> uncheck Assisted GPS. Not sure what the Network Based GPS is. Turning off A-GPS will slow down your lock on times from startup. You also want to go into options> settings> Internet in Ovi Maps...
