You could argue that Facebook sort of is. I see people who live on that site and their entire communication with the world is on that site. The beauty of this is people like me can just put a widget for calendar, Mail for exchange, Weather, one row of "fave four" and maybe 2 rows for shortcuts...

Not that I know of. 2D Memo is one of those Japanese programs that was written to support OS 4.x Clie's, as far as I can tell, and I don't think it will work on any version of OS5 although you could always try installing it and see what happens. Just backup first.:)
