I second what Tkao said, my curve felt very cheap/plasticky (loved the keypad, but hated the clicky sound it made). I've never used any of the 88xx series (which I heard are better built than curves) but the E51 I used, alongwith the E90 were solidly built, and well, the E90 was just a tank...

Mine has about 73mb on start (keep in mind that initially you might see less on start, give it a minute and it would offload unnecessary stuff. As mentioned though, it is plenty for this device.

Problem resolved. As someone mentioned it was simply "temporary image retention". After an hour or so the ghost image went away. I'm relieved it wasn't a defect :)
