I don't mind; I'm an elitist kind of guy. I have a pretty irrational neurosis problem, I admit. I also feel that American superhero comics are silly, in a bad way, so that's another reason.

I think its because outside of SImpsons, Family Guy, etc., they just don't watch cartoons. Sometimes though you find the Marvel/DC fans who watch the superhero cartoons though. Also anime fans =/= cartoon fans. Some people act like anime is different.

Perhaps this could happen without the parent companies actually merging, through a joint venture. Each company would be allowed to provide a proportionate amount of programming to the venture. Of course, what about those companies that aren't part of the actual joint venture, like Sony Pictures...
