    Bob's Burgers - "Lobsterfest" - Talkback [5/15]

Personally, I turned it off after reading the summary and watching the first act (with Bob being against Lobsterfest) because I felt that this is going to be one of the weaker episodes (as those that seem to focus on the restaurant and Bob attracting business seem to be the weaker ones IMO)...

Toon Zone Talkback - Seth MacFarlane Teams with Google to Distribute Animated Series on Internet

I heard this when the Writer's Strike was still going on.

The Cleveland Show - "Murray Christmas" - Talkback [12/5]

He was also in this season's halloween episode. So I guess that's four appearances.

Which animated show best represents the 90s?

You were probably a fifth-grade boy then. I clung on and eventually fell for DBZ. But it doesn't beat Pokemon. Besides, where was the DBZ trading cards and theatrical releases? :D

What do you think of "Made ya look episodes"?

Oh god, don't get me started on those. We go through all that exposition, all that drama and intensity and we all start from the beginning again. Even the Spongebob movie moved the plot in a way that worked (being the final episode that happens eventually.)

    Series that aged well

This is true. If you watch it now in the middle of all of CN's current shows it fits right in. The animation style and humor have a sort of timeless feel to them, and I'd like to think if I watched it today for the first time I'd have a hard time figuring out when it was made.

Toon Zone Talkback - FUNimation to Release "Guardians of Luna"

Well, I for one am quite pleased; I've been intrigued about this series ever since I heard about it, and despite the revamp I'll be interested to see where it ends up.

    iPhone 4 vs. Nexus One

Benchmarks? Show me. Ars Technica has web rendering numbers that showed the Nexus One with Froyo beating the iPhone 4 with iOS4. Smoother and faster? Nexus One with Froyo is incredibly fast and smooth. I have an iPod Touch 64gb, the equivalent of an iPhone 3GS, and there is no comparison...

Toon Zone Talkback - Monster House

Toon Zone Talkback - "Family Guy Volume Seven": Who Says Seven is a Lucky Number?

But as I implied before, cutaways aren't the only type of joke in the show. Just because there's one cutaway per minute on average doesn't mean there is only one JOKE per minute. And there have been a few episodes of FG which have gotten me to laugh multiple times per minute. That's how it...

Back to the T.. for a while anyway.

All to often we "forget" our roots. I found my M515 the other day and thought how much I enjoyed it's small foot print. I wish that P1 would make that same device with a collapseable VG and it would be the ideal device with the current software etc. Bigger is not necessarily better?

Live Action Shows/Movies given a cartoon follow up: Using the original actors.

Fonz and the Happy Days Gang (ABC, 1980-1982) - A Saturday morning cartoon featuring characters from Happy Days. Henry Winkler (The Fonz), Ron Howard (Richie) and Don Most (Ralph Malph) reprise their roles from the prime-time sitcom. Same deal with Jackie Chan Adventures. The real life Jackie...

Should old school toons be shown on other Networks?

Not saying I would hate it, but I wouldn't really like to see old cartoons on ABC, NBC, and CBS. I think they do best on a cable network or on DVD.

Vomitting a taboo in cartoons or not?

I was wondering, was Total Drama Island the first cartoon shown on American kids' TV that actually showed characters vomiting? I've seen adult cartoons do it before (that infamous scene in Family Guy comes to mind and South Park), but never a non-adult show do it in such a graphic matter...

Animated films too painful to watch twice

I can't say I've CRIED- in fact I can't say any form of entertainment has driven me to tears... but it is indeed a sad ending and sometimes at least produces a lump. Ditto for "Mother Simpson"'s ending.
