I think the bunk speakers only applied to the Euro models, im not saying however that blown speakers are impossible with the NAM. The widespread issue however only applied to the Euro models.

In the case of Avatar, though, they've described that as simply enhancing aspects of the actor's performance. Like if they were mad you'd make their big ears or tail twitch to transfer it to the digital character. It's not actually creating a performance, just complementing one.

Another thought is that he's using the classic Palm apps like Datebook instead of Calendar. If that's the case, there are no conduits for the classic PIM apps so nothing will get transferred to the desktop.

The CW4Kids will be no more. Starting in the fall the block will be replaced by Toonzai, a block with a heavy theme of Asian animation. We know of a few pick ups, such as DragonBall Z Kai, Tai Chi Chasers, and Penelope, however within a few weeks new series are reportedly going to be announced.
