Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo's style of character design is probably my favorite. More detailed than most American cartoons, more expressive and realistic than most anime. Kaiba's Tezuka-on-Technicolor-drugs look is wonderful as well. Can't go wrong with stylized '50s-era Chuck Jones...
