I havent seen or heard this story in the news, but I think that is absolutely appalling, and so insensitive. Some people are not fit to do the job they do, they should be ashamed of themselves.

It would probably cost as much to repair as it would to buy a new one. If it carries on for more that a few days then I would buy a new one.

You should go to an optitians tomorrow about the flashes. it could be a problem with your retina. They usually see you right away. Dark spots are usually floaters which are harmless. but you need to have it checked out as soon as possible.
