    Do you ever eat food that has past it's sell by date,?

    I'd be more careful with meat products. Seeing as it's tinned food I would taste it... If it tastes ok go for it! Tinned food lasts a lot longer, and the sell by dates are usually just so the companies can't get sued. Although, 4 years is a very long time.
