    Obviously all is not what it seems or what she wants you to think it is. Why not explain to her your suspicions ( in a nice way) and tell her it's important to you that you speak to her on the phone. Be diplomatic about it but firm.

    Why not have the paint professionally detailed instead? That is if you don't want to try it yourself. It would be worth it to at lease get an estimate. Could save you a bundle.

    Probably means that the chassis has that many miles on it but possibly the engine has been replaced. Yes it matters. The chassis and or the suspension could be rusted or damaged in some way. Have a mechanic put it up on a hoist and check it out.
