    As far as what to photograph...EVERYTHING..... It's the only way to get better along with reading material on lighting and camera settings like F Stops, Aperture, and Shutter Speeds. Keep doing nature if that's what you like. It's all about your own style not what you take a picture of.

    Canon. Pure and Simple...It is more user friendly, has better options and is a great product to stay with as you upgrade. Good Luck!!!

    I would always recommend going to a local photographer who is just getting started and have them do the shoot. Your more likely to get them to do it for free to gain the experience or at least for a lot less money than a professional. This way you don't pay a bunch of money and you gain...

    What are the basic starters for starting an in home photography studio after the camera?

    When I started I went onto eBay and found 1 continuous lamp and 1 flash lamp at a cost of only $50. I also purchase a White, Brown and Black Backdrop. There are also good backdrop and continuous lighting packages for about $100.
