    Can't remember the author or name of short story? Kinda apocalyptic-ish.??

    Its a unknown person describing the landscape of a small town that there is no one in. Also a little house on a hill that there is two shadows of children but no children. Read it it high school while we were reading ray bradbury and jack london etc..
