    if you use scripture to argue against stem cell research or abortion how will

    Depends on who they are, but I doubt it. Scripture can, however, make a good intro point or ending quote. You can still get a point across, without hinging an arguement on something some will just regard as false anyway.

    Since California is in such bad financial shape, why don't they tax the churches?

    so, none of you people mind the breaking of our constitution? Seeing as how many people can get away with "bending" it, should we really just change the rules entirely?
