    yes they will sleep fish don't require still waters to sleep its the DARKNESS that comes first for them to sleep.

    Eggs on a rock in my fish tank?

    i think these eggs must be from ur snail because goldfish cannot breed when young. and others give live birth. so its obviously belongs to snail. do not throw them and disturb them. when they grow sell them instead. but it can also just not be eggs and some thing else.
