I have an ipod touch 4th generation and its 4.1. Iv jailbroken it with limerain and have lots of apps from appcake. How do i update it with out losing my apps?

im getting a new ipod and dont now whats the best software to do it with. And also, if i download ipod apps from the computer using torrents or something, not on itunes, how would i put them on it?

Songs like 'I'm Alright' by Neill Zaza. Fun to play and sounds good but not too hard to learn. And not overplayed songs like Nothing Else Matters. And not songs that are just chords through out the whole song. Something that is underrated. songs with picking, NOT strumming
