Filler is okay, IMO, if it's handled correctly (like with the current Zanpakto arc going on in Bleach right now), but doing too much of it (like the case of Naruto prior to Shippuden) can kill a fan's interest in the series. Even if it's to provide buffer space between an ongoing manga and its...
