well scratch that, i fixed my problem, but now, when i try to dial *228, i will have signal until i press dial. it has the cricket 1042 PRL, and signal is full strength until i dial. why is it doing this?

$5 to convert a MEID to ESN? You should check around here with one of the people on here next time you need an ESN swapped. Really though, that error has always meant one of two things for me. Either you don't have the correct MDN/MIN entered (you may want to verify those), or the wrong ESN...
