SounRAB like the person who sold it to you changed the security code. I'm not sure how you'll handle that. I'd think there would be a way to do so (You'd have to hook it up to your computer using a cable.) but i'm not entirely sure.

Idk if this will help you any, you've probably already tried it but when I encounter this problem it's usually with a Sprint razr and it does the same exact thing. The only way I can get it to finally "go through" is to turn the phone on and let it get to that black screen and then put it in...
