Have you independently verified that El Paso actually uses SID 04485 or did you get that from our PRL interpretation? While 04485 is the FCC assigned SID for the El Paso market, Cricket sometimes does what they want and uses a SID from a different market for reasons unbeknownst to me.

Having similar problem... vx8550 will receive sms texts but not send. I have seen this same problem on a samsung atlas. Not looking for a hand out but some guidance would be nice.
