Country style ribs are normally not boneless although you can buy them that way
Put a dry rub on them
Bake at 275 2.5 hours loosely covered with a foil tent and then finish on grill while you sauce them
I'm certain that you refer to using sand to cook
I would think that a cast iron dutch oven could be buried in sand in a hot place to cook with, similar to putting hot coals on top of it
