I don't know why you think that is weird. It doesn't matter. If you are comfortable without it, then you are better off. It just costs money and time. As long as you like yourself without it then don't use it.

You must be very thin, because he seems extremely concerned about you. Sometimes saying "I don't have a big appetite" is really a cover up for an eating disorder. I'm not saying you have one, but it sounds like you are not eating healthy OR enough food.
