    Is it legal to carry an ASP baton in NJ?

    All I've been able to find is it's a state by state law rangeing from highly illegal to needing a permit to totally legal. I would prefer to use pepper spray however some of the more dangerous people in my area carry guns and pepper spray won't disarm most of them.
