    Prep for painting over mural?

    For my kids playroom, I had done a bright outdoorsy mural. Now that they are older,its time to paint over it, just a full color. Some of the paint in spots had gotten quite thick, more like likes around it on detailed spots like rocks, maybe even a 1/8th to 1/4 inch. Its all latex interior...
