    What time period do you think this poem was written in?

    I'd take at least 15 to 30 minutes to write that unless it came to me without me searching my brain. I've gotta search for each suitable words and put them together. But if I were to write one myself it won't be as good as that.

    How much faster is biking than walking?

    Depend on how fast you pedaled and how good you can bike. But I guess, if I was the biker, I could reach there in less than ten min. Yes, it's much faster to bike. Oh, yeah and another thing... I'm a fast biker :D. Perhaps normal speed would take me 15 - 20 min.
