if the trans. is going the motor will rev. but you will not go. smell the trans. fluid , if it smells burnt it is wrecked , a transmission cooler is the only cure for overheating .

first find out the clearance required then adjust each cylinder when it's at T.D.C. on the ignition stroke , the dist. will tell you which one is ready . you will have to take off the side plate to get to the lifters . best to get a manual .
