I have Quickbooks 2006 pro and a cash register Sharp XE-A21S that are supposed to be compatible. Quickbooks tells me the compatable years are 2004 - 2007 but Sharp says they are 2008-2010.Which one is correct?

The television has no av jacks. I have a Phillips Switch that I can use to connect everything together just not sure of the process. I have done it on a television of mine with satellite connection but not the antenna/converter box.
