started skippin. shut it off. wont crank back. i had fire to the coil but none coming out. i replaced coil. still wont crank. i tried a coil wire and that made no diff. as well. its still in time. i scraped the dist.cap and rotor button. checked all my wires and checked for any lose connections...

does a 86 pontiac sunbird 1.8 liter without turbo have a crank sensor and if so where is it. i sure hope its not like a grand am i had one time. man that thing was in a lovely spot.
