    Why are bike rides at active.com so expensive?

    They are like $80-$90 for a 170-200 mile ride! Why so much? And how can I affordably pursue my passion of cycling in a mass group? I don't have a job anymore so it's such and such college coming up not sure whether to buy textbooks or cycling registrations. Summer's a wasting anyways.
