    Can I put a geardrive on a 99 chevy k2500?

    they say you can not use geardrives on these engines at summit and Im not sure why, if at all. I have the last year of the old style chevy pickup with the 5.7, and they say you can use a gear drive on a newer fuel injected engine... Why?
