I wanted to start riding a motorcycle but I'm not sure which one to start with. I want to eventually ride a yamaha R-1 but what is the best starting motorcycle for people who have just gotten their license? I'm 5'8" and weigh around 150 if it matters

After getting a motorcycle license and the proper training for riding motorcycles, I was wondering if it mattered if I got the yamaha R-1 or the R-6. Does it make a difference? And does it matter what year the bike is?
