    What kind of fish could this have been?

    Fishing in a river in Kentucky;hooked a large fish and it jumped very briefly, enought to see that it was royal blue in color. Have not seen anything like that before and I've fished for many years for bass, catfish, walleye, bluegill, etc. Any ideas?
