    Palm v help!!!!!!!!!?

    I have a palm v and a macbook pro i am trying to do a "hotsync" but the computer will not find the palm, i am using the serial cable with a usb converter.I have the latest version of hotsync manager for mac and have installed the drivers for the serial to usb converter but still no luck.
