    Hindus: Would it be okay if I was not a vegetarian just to fit into American culture

    and for financial? I still wouldn't eat any meat from the cow, but I can't keep doing this. Please no Bible verses forbidding idol worship! Apparently, where I live must be pretty redneck then. I always believed that eating meat gave bad karma.
