I am new to investing, so I couldn't grasp when the company declared a dividend of Re.0.40 per equity share of Rs. 2/-(20%). I have 100 shares of Rs83.55 each. Does it mean that I would get 20% of Rs8355 as dividend?
PS: The face value of the share happens to be Rs 2.
