    How to take a good photo?

    hey! Im trying to take a nice looking photo of myself for my lovely pen-pal! Iam not at all photogenic I look horrible from ALL angles! I got someone to take on for me but again I looked like a had got flattedned by a truck....... no joke. Tips on taking a good photo?
