    Why do liberals insist on saying that the deal made with Republicans gave a tax cut

    to the rich? This prevents a rise in taxes, not give a tax cut. The current tax rates are set to go up in Jan. Therefore, the current deal is to not give a tax HIKE to people, not to CUT taxes.
