    How do you find the tonal center of a chord pattern on guitar for soloing?

    My guitar teacher gave me a piece of music, and told me to find the tonal center of it. But the problem is, I totally forgot how to. For example, there's a measure where the chords changes are Am7 to D7, and he says the tonal center for that is G, how would I find it for the other measures?
