    if i buy an unlocked nexus one, can i use it without a phone/data plan?

    i have a motorola droid with verizon and am having a lot of fun with rooting. i also love the look of the nexus one and i know there is a lot of stuff out there on how to root it, flash custom roms, blah blah. It has more RAM and a faster processor so i think it would be fun to mess around...
