    How do you separate a telfa pad from a fleshy wound with minimum pain?

    I got a slap shot to my finger tip a few days ago, had to get 7 stitches... there is a patch of flesh sticking threw the stitches that is sticking to the telfa pad. i would like to know if there is any techniques to separate it without it hurting to much... Any ideas? its a pad stuck to flesh...
