    The phone was probably patched unlock, since you did master reset... the unlock patch got wiped therefore it's locked again. Was it orignally from Rogers? At&t? probably locked to those networks now. You have to take it to a shop or run tutorials on how to unlock it. I'm not an iphone user...

    No, it's not a slide out keyboard... It's a detatchable, so basically it's a regular bar touch phone... Then you can attatch the keyboard for texting. I think you should pick something with a Sim-Card, you kno their new HSPA 3G network. You will have faster internet and better call quality...
