I'm up for a tmobile upgrade and I'm really interested in these phones. I dont have a data plan, just regular calls and texitng. Any input on which is better and why will be appreciated.

I have tmobile as my cellphone carrier and i have the 1000 min and unlimited text plan. I know that to get a free or reduced price blackberry with them, they require a + $30 data plan. Is it true that if i buy one from ebay or amazon i don't need a data plan for it to function. Can it also get...
